PRODUCTION OF TELEVISION PROGRAMS

 

MESSAGE

These Christian programs give holistic answers to relevant development issues such as:

AIDS prevention, interpersonal relationships, marriage, family, education, conflict prevention, conflict management, reconciliation, environment, agriculture, health care, hygiene, malnutrition, dehydration, malaria and ethical items.

 

Different forms of communication are used such as: panel discussions, interviews, music, educational items, practical information and short news items.

These programs relate to African culture in form and content to a 

maximum degree. The programs have been developed in such a way 

that they will reach the different ethnic groups in French speaking Africa.

 

 

TARGET GROUP

Through our TV-programs we can reach a great percentage of 

the population, directly and  indirectly

Indirectly, because the most effective way of communication and 

awareness raising aimed at the less educated in the villages is through communication to the family members in town.

Anthropology studies have shown, the middle-class people in the city 

have a great influence on the attitudes and world view of their families in 

rural areas. Therefore the training and  information presented to the urban population finds a great response in rural society.

 

This target group has a great influence on the subjects and the contents 

of the programs.

The producers take the reactions and questions of the viewers into consideration as they determine the topics.
